Toronto's red-hot housing market remains out of reach to many, while other suburban markets are offering competitive prices and easy commutes to the Downtown Core. In Ajax—just a 35 minute train ride from Union Station—developer LeMine Investment Group is now marketing their Central Park Ajax development, a major mixed use project that aims to become the centrepiece in a new downtown for Ajax.

The first phase in the Kirkor Architects-designed community will contain 410 residential units, residents of which will have access to a wide selection of indoor and outdoor amenity spaces, catering to a range of different lifestyles. A number of indoor spaces—appointed by interior designers DKStudio—will be provided including a hotel-style lobby that will serve as the main residential entrance to the development.

A host of other amenities will be available to residents of the development's first phase, such as a fitness centre with rock-climbing wall, a yoga room, a billiards and games room, an electronic video room, and a home theatre facility with a large screen television.

In addition to offering commercial space, Central Park Ajax will support the business-minded lifestyle with a professional management and conference room

Other indoor amenity spaces include a party room, a library, and a children’s play room, pictured below. The children's play area will be an important amenity for parents living within the development, providing a spacious area for kids to play within the complex but beyond the walls of the residential units.

A lofty bar and lounge space featuring ample natural light—courtesy of floor-to-ceiling glazing—will provide residents with a place to unwind. This space leads out to an outdoor amenity terrace, giving residents and guests the choice between indoor and outdoor relaxation.

In addition to the green roof terrace and outdoor barbeque and dining area pictured below, the development will also offer a podium-top outdoor mini golf zone, allowing residents to brush up on their short game technique between trips to one of the many local golf courses.
