In recent years, Toronto's central Etobicoke area has become a hub of high-rise construction. All within walking distance of either Kipling or Islington subway stations, the Bloor corridor is dotted with recent—and upcoming—development, as projects like The Kip District, Vivid Condos, ConneXionPalais at Port Royal and Parc Nuvo at Essex contribute to the area's evolution. Just northwest of Bloor and Islington, Tridel's Islington Terrace is one of Etobicoke's most ambitious residential projects, with a three-tower community set to rise within easy walking distance of Islington Station.

With Islington Terrace's 45-storey phase 1 tower now gearing up for construction following successful sales, marketing for the phase 2 BLOORVISTA tower is getting underway. Like the neighbouring phase 1 and 3 towers, the condominium is designed by Kirkor Architects, rising from the large central podium shared by all three buildings. Common area amenities and suites are appointed by II BY IV Design.

Offering similar suite configurations to the popular phase 1 tower, BLOORVISTA's one and two-bedroom suites are available in a gamut of layouts and price price points. Many of the units also feature dens, with Units ranging in size from 407 ft² to 1,545 ft², offering some flexibility in use of space. At 485 ft², the one-bedroom '1A' suite seen below is one the project's smaller units, with an open living/dining space opening up to a west-facing Juliet balcony.

Meanwhile, many of the tower's larger suites feature full balconies. Below, the 775 ft² '2C' unit includes an outdoor space that spans the length of the living/dining area. Facing east, the two-bedroom suite also features an ensuite bathroom in the master bedroom, alongside a luxurious walk-in closet.

At 976 ft², a two-bedroom + den penthouse suite ('2G+D') is one of the tower's most luxurious homes. Situated on either side of the living/dining area, the two bedrooms each feature an ensuite bathroom and a walk-in closet. The suite also boasts two private balconies, accessible from the master bedroom and the communal area.

Alongside the tower suites, the project also includes a select number of two-level townhomes, which range in size from 1,381 ft² to 1,545 ft². Featuring three-bedroom configurations and private patio/garden areas, the street-level townhomes introduce a more family-oriented character to the project.

BLOORVISTA residents will have access to the same generous amenity offerings as Islington Terrace's first phase, including a party room featuring bar and lounge areas, a theatre, a private dining room, a games room, and family-friendly spaces like the Children’s Play Zone, which includes a and playroom and splash pool. Outdoor spaces will also be accessible on the shared podium's expansive rooftop.

Targeting a Spring 2019 completion, BLOORVISTA is poised to add significant residential density to the area. Located near the west end of the TTC's Line 2, transit access has made Etobicoke's Bloor-Islington neighbourhood one of the City's fast-growing areas, with convenient access to Downtown—and comparatively affordable prices—contributing to the area's appeal.
