Construction activity has recently attained another milestone at the Davenport Village site of Neudorfer Corporation's Fuse and Fuse2 Condos. Following the topping off the Barrett Architect and Burka Architects-designed development's 27-storey first phase last year, forming has been completed for the project's second phase—Fuse2—with the recent topping off of the 23-storey tower.

Forming of the second phase tower's 23rd and final residential level was completed in late-May. In the time since, the tower's recessed mechanical penthouse level has also been poured, bringing the development to its final height over Dupont Street.

Since our May update on the project, even more precast concrete and masonry cladding has been installed on Fuse2. Historically-sensitive brick cladding now covers most of the podium levels, soon to be sealed off by the installation of windows. The tower's precast concrete finishes have also become quite apparent, with vertical piers of concrete now stretching over halfway up the building.

Cladding installation is also progressing on the project's first phase tower rising from the corner of Dupont and Lansdowne. With the main exterior cladding largely in place, the last expanses of precast, window wall, and the imminent installation of balcony glazing will soon complete the look of the tower's exterior.

We will continue to follow the development here, but in the meantime, you can find additional information and renderings in our dataBase file for Fuse and Fuse2, linked below.
