As glass condominium towers take over the skylines of Toronto and its surrounding suburbs, single-family housing stock is growing more scarce, putting pressure on developers to introduce more single-family homes to the region. One such development addressing this scarcity is Dunpar's Trafalgar Ridge, a suburban subdivision that will add 112 townhomes to the area of Trafalgar Road and Upper Middle Road in Oakville.

Trafalgar Ridge will be spread over 11 blocks, labeled A through J in the project's site plan. Block J of the development (pictured below) is currently the furthest along, with the three-storey townhome block nearing structural completion at the western edge of the site along Lillykin Street. The next step in this block's construction will be the addition of exterior features including custom natural Indiana limestone. The development's exteriors feature architecture inspired by English Georgian Manors.

The remainder of the site has not progressed as far, though foundations and plumbing are in place for the surrounding blocks. Below, we are pointed southeast for a view along the site's Trafalgar Road frontage, where the foundations and plumbing for the next townhome blocks are quite evident.

Ranging in size from 1,940 ft to 2,800 ft², each unit at Trafalgar Ridge will feature three-bedroom layouts and two-car garages, offering a family-focused lifestyle more in line with the needs of the suburban community. A number of neighbourhood amenities will be within easy driving range, including Downtown Oakville, while sites like Sheridan College's main Oakville campus are just a short walk away to the south.
