The Toronto real estate market is certainly booming right now. There is pressure on Canada’s most populous city to house more and more residents, and this pushes prices up.  

As with any city at a time of growth, it is interesting to find out just what is available right now in the property market at the entry level. To this end we browsed real estate website Point2 Homes to find the five most affordable Toronto condos that have come onto the real estate market in the last 30 days.

Here’s what we found:

This condo represents a very agreeable combination of affordable price and great location. It’s close to public transport, Highway 401, York University, the new Humber River Hospital, and Yorkdale Mall. It comes with a stove, fridge, washer, and a dishwasher. The building has a 24-hour concierge, a party room and a fitness centre (accessible with membership). It also has a wonderful south-facing view over the city.

This renovated 3 bedroom condo is an amazing catch, considering what you get for your money. The location is also good and, all in all, renting doesn’t look attractive when instead you could put down a mortgage on a place like this.

Move in here and you’ll have the assurance of living in a well-maintained building with lots of amenities. You might also be very happy with the location, which is near parkland and the Humber River.

The location is near parkland.
