Between the high-rise clusters at Eglinton and St. Clair, Mattamy and Biddington's J. Davis House joins a more intimate stretch of Yonge Street in Davisville. Designed by Graziani + Corazza, the 9-storey condominium will add 191 residences to the popular Midtown neighbourhood, with suite sizes from 295 ft² to 1,650 ft². A look at the project's floorplans evidences a wide variety of living spaces, which range from small studios to luxurious penthouse suites. With a wide range of suite types, the development could attract a reasonably diverse group of residents.

Among the project's smaller units, a 390 ft² studio features a highly compact layout, with a central living/dining/sleeping area dominating the space. Notably, this layout offer a private balcony or terrace (depending on the floor), providing residents with a private outdoor space.

At 540 ft², a one-bedroom suite offers a more generous interior configuration. With a separate bedroom and kitchen, living spaces are more clearly delineated, making for a more traditional layout. While the second floor suite boasts a spacious terrace—spanning the width of the living room and kitchen—upper floor units feature a smaller balcony.

At the more luxurious end of the spectrum, a 1,275 ft² two-bedroom suite offers a spacious configuration. Both bedrooms are equipped with ensuite bathrooms, while the master bedroom also features two walk-in closets. Depending on the floor, the suite comes with either two balconies—one of which spans the length of the units—or a large wrap-around terrace.

The project's suites will feature modern interiors with a range of available finishes. Below, a rendering of a kitchen area shows a dark wood tone dominating the space, with minimalistic cabinetry and in-built stainless steel appliances.

A bathroom rendering shows off a similarly appointed space, with the same wood tone accenting a neutral colour palette.

Residents will enjoy a selection of amenities including a lobby with a lounge, fitness centre, party room, and a sauna—all appointed by Graziani + Corazza's interior design division. J. Davis House will also feature landscaping by Terraplan, with new plantings set to improve the public realm at ground level.
