As Opearl Developments' first Canadian project, Toronto's Sail Condos is set to declare the Chinese company's presence in a new market. With a highly recognizable design evoking the eponymous shape—the sail is considered a symbol of good luck and prosperity in China—the 18-storey tower is certain to stand out from its largely rectilinear neighbours. Now, as the start of construction nears, Opearl Developments is hosting a Chinese New Year celebration and sales promotion, to be held between noon and 4 PM on January 30th.

The event will be held at Sail's onsite sales centre at 2933 Sheppard Avenue East, where the Keith Loffler McAlpine Architects-designed tower is soon set to rise. The building's 180 suites are available in studio, one, two, and three-bedroom layouts, with sizes ranging from 353 ft² to 1,412 ft².  Suite interiors, and amenity spaces are designed by Gordana Car Design, with renderings showing an elegant section of street-level amenities.

Sail will feature a ground-level fitness centre with cardio, aerobics and weights equipment, as well a multi-purpose party room, which opens up to an intimate, private outdoor courtyard.

The Chinese New Year sales event highlights Sail's suite of the month, the 'Ripple' unit, which is priced at just under $400,000 on all floors. The 802 ft², two-bedroom and two bathroom suite offers a relatively spacious and affordable home ownership option, while Opearl's 15% deposit program provides an approachable entry point into the housing market.

The event will feature light refreshments, as well as more information about current sales incentives, which feature up to $18,000 in savings. More information is available on the project's official website.
