It's time again for our Photo of the Month! At the beginning of every month, we bring back the highest rated Photo of the Day selection of the previous 4 weeks, along with the runner up, based on combined Facebook shares and Twitter retweets.
Our most popular photo featured in October was this shot of Union Station's opulent Great Hall. Submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool by Chad Wanyou, this wide-angle view was captured at night, showing the grand space completely devoid of commuters.
Our runner up from October shows another prominent Toronto landmark, First Canadian Place in the Financial District. Submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool by Giulio Calisse, this image was captured from neighbouring Scotia Plaza at dusk.
