The redevelopment of Toronto Regent Park community is now in its third phase, and demolition work is well under way at Block 17, one of the original walkup apartment building built during the original 1950s urban renewal project. In today's Photo of the Day, which was submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool by Lori Whelan, the darkened block can be seen in the foreground, with the Toronto skyline shining brightly beyond.
