The free public event will take place at the Arts and Letters Club, located 14 Elm St., and will run from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. There will be some light refreshments available and a cash bar starting at 7 PM. Members of the public are encouraged to attend, as the future of Yonge Street is in many ways linked to the future of Toronto.

In addition to the November 19 event, Toronto's main street will see a flurry of activity this month, as the city prepares for the coming holiday season. The Winter Magic festival will see Yonge Street transformed over the course of three events including, Illuminate (Nov. 14 from 5 PM on), which will celebrate the official lighting of the "Holiday Tree," Ice, Wine & Dine (Nov. 21 from 4 PM-10 PM), a food and wine event, and Kidzfest (Nov. 28 from 11 AM-5 PM), a family-friedly event for kids.
