Last month, we introduced State Building Group and Madison Homes' 609 Avenue Road, a 19-storey condominium tower that will bring new density to the Avenue Road and St. Clair West area, repairing a gap in the streetwall while adding a cohesive yet distinctly new presence to the neighbourhood. Now, we take a closer look at the interior features of the 161-suite project, including suite configurations, amenities, and interior decor elements.

Designed by Richmond Architects, the development will feature interiors appointed by Tomas Pearce Interior Design. With suites ranging in size from approximately 500 to 2,000 square feet, the condominium's units—with prices between $300,000 and $2,500,000—appeal to a variety of buyers.

The relatively wide spectrum of unit sizes provides viable housing options for both families and smaller households. With 9' and 10' ceilings throughout the suites, the configurations suggest a spacious ambiance across the living areas. With the smallest units starting at around 500 square feet, 609 Avenue Road also provides relatively generous suite sized by the standards of Toronto's current condo market.

A new rendering of the project's party room (above) gives us a glimpse of what to expect from the interior aesthetic, which is characterized by elegant earth tones and natural lighting. Similarly, the eye-catching 'sky lounge' terrace—which features barbecues and an open-air dining area—is characterized by warm wood-toned panelling and muted grey colours (below), creating a soothing and naturalistic ambiance.

The somewhat more dramatic lobby area (below) features slightly darker tones, while remaining grounded in the interior decor aesthetic established by subtle earth tones and simple, clean spaces. Featuring 24-hour concierge service, the lobby, party room, and terrace will be joined by the condominium's additional amenities, which will include a gym, private dining room, guest suite, and a pet wash station.
