Responsibilities:
Assist with the development of social media strategy
Curate and create social media posts, images and stories
Encourage communication and participation on our social media profiles
Establish and cultivate relationships with industry members, clients, media outlets and influencers
Create and execute promotional plans for partners
Generate reports showing social media growth
Participate in online discussions
Work under tight daily deadlines
Contribute ideas and generally participate in discussions related to operation of site
Participate in site's discussion forum
Generate reports showing social media growth
Some SEO work
 
Qualifications:
A degree in Journalism, communications or digital marketing
Minimum two years working in digital and social media
Excellent knowledge of social media channels including but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Flickr
Experience in buying digital advertising such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Google
A clear understanding of metrics and the ability to analyze in an effective manner
Hootsuite experience a must
Photoshop, Apple operating system experience
Excellent writing and editing skills
Superior communication skills
Ability to liaise with external clients
Ability to handle daily deadlines and tight timelines
Knowledge and keen interest in urban development, architecture and real estate
Ability to work in a team in a collaborative and creative environment
Creative and energetic with an entrepreneurial spirit a must!
