Fundraising Committee member, Mike Yorke, President of Carpenters Union Local 27, comments, "This a great opportunity for Toronto’s construction and development industry to recognize the role of the arts in creating a more inclusive, open and engaged society. These sectors have really stepped up to the plate. The industry support of this evening has been amazing — it is apparent that the relationship between the arts and this industry is truly symbiotic. I would also like to recognize the role of Mayor John Tory in lending his name to the event and really driving forward its success."
