When opened in 1989, the Rogers Centre (then known as SkyDome) was among the most technologically advanced stadiums in North America, and the first with an operational retractable roof. In less than 30 years, the home stadium of the Toronto Blue Jays has gone from the newest, to the seventh oldest stadium used in Major League Baseball. In just a few days, the Rogers Centre will host its first MLB playoff game in over 20 years, and the city is abuzz with anticipation. In today's Photo of the Day, which was submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool by A Great Capture, we are shown a view of an illuminated Rogers Centre reflecting off the surface of Toronto Harbour at night.
