Walkable streets, quirky retail, an eclectic dining scene, and a tight-knit community atmosphere are among the several factors drawing people to the trendy Leslieville area. While Leslieville's main arterials, Dundas and Queen, are being built out with larger-scaled mid-rise developments, other projects are seeking to emulate the established low-rise standard of surrounding streets and capitalize on the popularity of the townhome model of housing.

One such development, Lifestyle Custom Homes' One6Nine Jones Townhomes, is looking to make a splash in the community with their upcoming October 7th public launch, to be hosted at the on-site presentation centre at 169 Jones Avenue, from 6 to 10 PM.

Designed by Open Architects, One6Nine Jones will rise from the east side of Jones Avenue, a short distance north of Dundas Street East. The four-storey development is offering just 12 units multi-bedroom units, at sizes ranging from 1,300 to 2,400 square feet, and prices ranging from $689,900 to $1,499,999.

Many of the units will offer private rooftop terraces, while balconies and back yards will provide outdoor space for other units.
