A new residential development is now under way in Toronto's Leaside neighbourhood. This past Sunday, developer Knightstone Capital Management were joined by representatives of Kearns Mancini Architects and Chestnut Park Real Estate Ltd to celebrate the official ground breaking for their new boutique condominium and townhouse project, The Upper House Condos.
The event featured a community barbecue with food served by Grill Time, a neighbourhood butcher shop located on Laird Drive, just steps from the development site. Representatives of Chestnut Park Real Estate Ltd. were also on hand to answer guests' questions and sign up those hoping to buy into the new community.
“This is a very exciting time for us at Knightstone, for future residents and for the Leaside community,” said David Lehberg, President and CEO of Knightstone Capital Management. “This groundbreaking marks yet another milestone in the continued success at The Upper House, and in bringing one of Toronto’s best neighbourhoods its first boutique community.”
Located at 25 Malcolm Road near the intersection of Laird Drive and Millwood Road, the development is offering a total of 66 units, including 12 two-storey townhomes with interiors by Chase Architecture. Ranging in size between 435 and 1,509 square feet and starting from the $300,000s, the units will boast nine-foot ceilings, engineered hardwood flooring, and premium features like gourmet chef’s kitchens and spa-inspired ensuites.
