Construction work has officially begun at the site of Trafalgar Ridge, a new townhome community in Oakville from developer Dunpar Homes. Work officially kicked off last month with a groundbreaking ceremony at the site on Trafalgar Road between Upper Middle Road and Dundas Street. Attended by Dunpar’s President John Zanini, as well as Oakville Mayor Rob Burton, and Concillors Jeff Knoll and Marc Grant, the event marked the start of construction with a ceremonial sod turning.

The development will add 112 new homes to Oakville, each offering three bedrooms plus a den, two bathrooms, one powder room, and two-car garages, with sizes ranging between 1,940 and 2,800 square feet. Priced from the mid $600,000s to the high $800,000s, the units will feature 9.5 foot ceiling heights for main floors and 9 foot ceiling heights on all other floors. Master ensuite bathrooms will include his and hers oval sink with marble vanity countertops, while kitchens offer the choice of granite or marble countertops and backsplash, with stainless steel kitchen appliances coming standard.

Trafalgar Ridge will put residents within easy walking distance to Sheridan College, Oakville GO Station, Upper Oakville Shopping Centre, parks, public and private schools and several golf courses. The QEW will be just a few minutes drive away, putting Mississauga, Downtown Toronto, and Burlington all within reach.

With construction of the development now in its early stages, the first occupancies are now slated for the Fall of 2016.

We will be sure to return for updates on the community's construction. In the meantime, additional information and images can be found in our dataBase file for the project, linked below.
