Tridel's master-planned Metrogate community continues to grow near Kennedy and 401 in Scarborough. The community's fifth high-rise condominium tower, Avani, recently reached its final height, with cladding installation now nearing the top. For a better understanding of how the 35-storey Graziani + Corazza Architects-designed condo tower and its twin second phase, Avani2, fit into the community, we turn to an aerial overview of Metrogate, captured by aerial photography firm The Sky Guys.

The video (click link for fullscreen) begins with a brief glimpse of the Metrogate community's presentation centre, where Avani2 units are currently being sold, before cutting to a series of aerial views that show the full community surrounded by vibrant fall colours, in full HD detail.

17 seconds in, we are given a detailed view of Metrogate's townhome blocks, as well as the central park that acts as a hub for the surrounding community.

After showing off several angles of the community, the video pans out to reveal Highway 401, which connects residents of Metrogate to the surrounding region.

Once complete, Avani will join Ventus at MetrogateSolaris at Metrogate, and multiple townhouse blocks in the Metrogate community. Second phase Avani 2 will rise next to the topped-off first phase, sharing a podium that will contain amenity spaces for residents of both towers.
