A slate of new mid-rise developments are promising to transform the eastern stretch of Toronto's Danforth Avenue, capitalizing on the street's walkability and its rapid transit access. Among the growing number of projects gearing up to add new density and life to The Danforth, Diam DevelopmentsOn the Danforth Condos is preparing to launch sales with an upcoming registrants' event this weekend. The event will take place on September 26th and 27th, from noon to 5 PM at the development's presentation centre at 2359 Danforth Avenue, between Woodbine and Main stations on the TTC's Line 2.

With the launch for the 10-storey, Onespace Unlimited-designed condominium development just around the corner, we were given the opportunity to preview the project's presentation centre last week, as the temporary structure's final details were being put into place.

The centrepiece of the On The Danforth presentation centre is the scale model of the development, located prominently just inside the entrance. Built by J.S. Models, the scaled-down model of On The Danforth gives purchasers an idea of what to expect for the building's form and its exterior finishes. There is plenty to cover about the scale model, and we will return with a full article discussing this element of the presentation centre.

The presentation centre also offers a model suite, giving potential purchasers a hands-on example of the interior finishes available for the project's 135 condominium suites, which are available in one, two, and three-bedroom models, with prices starting from the mid-$200,000s.

Finishes within the presentation centre reflect the development's EsQape Design-appointed interior spaces, including wood textures and the warmth of a fireplace, using natural materials in a modern way, similar to the design shown in renderings which depict the building's lobby space.

For those wishing to attend the opening this weekend, there is still time to register for the development.
