Time Development Group's Danforth Square will be a major addition to the Warden and Danforth area of Scarborough, bringing 300 new homes to the neighbourhood, including condos starting at $179,900 and urban towns from low $200,000s. The nine-storey, Kohn Partnership Architects-designed development's location, unit layouts, and affordable price point should all be attractive features for purchasers from both the investor and first-time buyer markets.

New renderings are providing us our first glimpse inside the building's residential units, designed by Tanner Hill Associates Inc.. The floorplans at Danforth Square were designed to allow maximum functionality and optimal use of space, and come with features like smooth finish 9’ ceilings, and stainless steel appliances and custom cabinetry in gourmet kitchens.

A number of different finish packages are being offered, with an assortment of textures, wood, and stone details that will allow purchasers to customize the space to their liking. Danforth Square's suites will also feature glass sliding patio doors, engineered laminate floors, stacked washer and dryers, and porcelain/ceramic flooring in washer/dryer and bathroom areas.

Residents of Danforth Square's suites will enjoy a ground level primarily dedicated to retail which will also include a party room and a business centre.

The ground floor will also be the site of the building's residential lobby. Like the units themselves, the lobby and amenity spaces have been designed by Tanner Hill Associates.

With registration under way and the project's VIP sales launch tentatively scheduled for early September, we look forward to tracking the sales progress and eventual construction of this new mid-rise development.
