The intersection of Yonge and King is home to some impressive early-20th-century architecture, and King Subway Station on the TTC's Line 1. In today's Photo of the Day, which was submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool by Abdulkadir A, we are taken to the top of the 20-storey-tall 1915 Royal Bank Building at 2 King Street East for a view of the Yonge and King intersection below. Restoration work is visible on the 1912 Dominion Bank Building at the southwest corner, which serves as the base for the 1 King West Hotel and Residences tower above.
