A lot of people see Toronto as a city of business people in suits, and sure, there's a lot of Italian pinstripe walking around this town, but we're also a city of artists in tyvek onesies, and a city of of parties! One night last week it seemed like just about all of our artists in tyvek onesies were rounded up by RAW Design for their annual summer party, given copious amounts of paint and the means to apply it, and let loose in a building that isn't long for this world.

…not long for this world because the site of the party was where Daniels Waterfront is being built over the next few years. With the Guvernment and KoolHaus buildings gone already, it was in the warehouse space on the north end of the site where RAW's party planners Kim Graham & Associates put it all together, in an outdoor space, and a pair of large interior spaces, one mostly white, and one mostly black. While you're enjoying Canada Day festivities, here's the kind of fun that was happening a few days ago.

So those are just a few of the scenes from the epic fun fest. If you want to see more, you can check out Chris Kotsy's gallery on Flickr here, or Marc Mitanis's Flickr gallery here. To get a bit more flavour, there's this short video:

Have a great Canada Day, and we'll see you on the UrbanToronto front page again on Thursday. Cheers!
