Great walkability and proximity to the Bloor-Danforth Subway (Line 2) are fueling demand for new homes on and around The Danforth. One of the new developments capitalizing on this demand is On the Danforth Condos from Diam Developments. Designed by architects Onespace Unlimited, this 10-storey condominium development will rise at 2359 Danforth Avenue at Oak Park Avenue, located between Main and Woodbine stations.

The development rises to a height of seven storeys above Danforth Avenue on its north side, with the final three levels set back above. The south side of the development makes use of stepped terraces to transition the mid-rise down to a scale more appropriate for the low-rise neighbourhood to the south.

The development's interior spaces will be appointed by EsQape Design, and we are now getting our first glimpse inside of the project's lobby thanks to a recently released rendering of the space. This bright space will feature a concierge desk and a lounge with fireplace accented by the textures of wood and stone, while tree branch screens will soften the space.

Currently in its registration phase, On The Danforth is offering 135 condo units, available in one, two, and three-bedroom models, with prices starting from the mid-$200,000s.

Additional information and renderings for On The Danforth can be found in the project's dataBase file, linked below. Want to get involved in the discussion? Check out the associated Forum threads, or leave a comment using the space provided at the bottom of this page.
