Since April 6th, the College and Spadina intersection has been closed to traffic to accommodate the replacement of streetcar tracks, the lengthening of platforms, road resurfacing and reconstruction of sections of sidewalk. The road closure spans from Spadina Crescent to the north down to Oxford Street to the south, and from Huron Street west to Robert Street. With construction work now wrapping up and the intersection's April 27th reopening date fast approaching, the TTC has released a video on their YouTube channel that provides insight into the track installation process.

Captured on April 11th, during the first week of the closure, the video gives us a glimpse of workers and heavy machinery cooperating to move new sections of track into place. Once work finishes next week, things will start returning to normal at College and Spadina, one of Toronto's major streetcar intersections.
