Near the memorably named intersection of Danforth and Danforth (that's Road and Avenue) in Toronto's east end, Time Development Group is bringing a new mid-rise condominium and townhouse development. Designed by Kohn Partnership Architects, Danforth Square will be a new mixed-used development offering a 9-storey residential condominium with a commercial/retail ground level, as well as urban ‘stacked towns’  and freehold townhomes.

The development will rise on the edge of the well-established Oakridge neighbourhood, offering a mix of units in a range of sizes, with prices for condo units starting at $179,900. More information about the larger urban and freehold towns, including prices for them, will be revealed in the near future. With the Toronto Real Estate Board's recent announcement of detached home prices in Toronto surpassing the $1 million mark, detached home ownership is becoming less and less affordable in the city. As prices continue to climb, new East End condominium developments like Danforth Square are providing a more affordable option for new homebuyers, packaged with the luxuries and conveniences of condo living.

Residents at Danforth Square will enjoy a selection of recreational amenities including a party room with kitchen capable of hosting parties of up to 50 people, an exercise space, and a rooftop terrace with views of the city and Lake Ontario.

The development will put residents in close proximity to transit, only 5 minutes to Warden Station, 4 minutes to Victoria Park Station, and 7 minutes to the Danforth GO Station, making anywhere in the city easily reachable. The surrounding vibrant, walkable areas of The Danforth, The Beach, and Leslieville offers plenty in the way of shops, boutiques and restaurants. Schools, day cares, parks and services are all within easy walking distance of the development, which makes Danforth Square a good location for new families.
