Whether it is a center for sports-fit for an athlete in Downtown Toronto, a lakeside sauna on the secluded shores of an island archipelago in Georgian Bay, or maybe an opera house in St. Petersburg, Russia, Ontario architects are designing some breathtaking structures. In recognition of top accomplishments, the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) has selected 10 projects to bestow the OAA Design Excellence Award on and now is inviting the public to vote for their favorite Design Excellence Award winning project. The winner will receive the OAA People's Choice Award.

Selecting from 10 candidates, the public has a chance to cast their vote before voting closes on Wednesday, April 15 at 4:30 PM Eastern Time. The winner of the People's Choice Award will be announced at the Celebration of Excellence Ceremony in Hamiliton on Friday, May 8, 2015.
