While neither the longest, widest nor oldest bridge in Toronto, the Queen Street viaduct is easily one of the most photographed. Carrying traffic over the Don River, the bridge was constructed in 1911, and renovated in the 1990s. Part of this renovation saw public art added to the bridge, in the form of a banner featuring a clock with the phrase "this river I step in is not the river I stand in", by artist Eldon Garnet. In today's Photo of the Day, which was submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool by Ronaldo Wanyou, a TTC streetcar speeds over the bridge at night.
