Proximity to Bayview subway station and the Bayview Village Shopping Centre are only a couple of the many reasons why the area surrounding the Bayview/Sheppard intersection is currently booming with new growth. New condo developments promise to continue adding new residents to this area well into the future, including Lotus Condos by Chestnut Hill Developments and Fortress Real Developments, currently in its registration phase.

This 11-storey, Kirkor Architects Planners-designed development would replace an existing block of single-family homes at Sheppard Avenue East and Kenaston Gardens, just steps east of Bayview Station on the TTC's Sheppard Line (Line 4). The project will replace the older homes with 244 condominium units, in addition to 227 square metres of on-site parkland and 249 square metres of ground floor retail space.

Lotus is offering studio, one and two bedroom suites starting at $299,990. Residents will have the use of a collection of amenity spaces appointed by Mike Niven Interior Design, including a lobby with concierge, lounge areas, a boardroom, a fitness centre, guest suites, and a spa.

The development will also include a large multipurpose party room, offering a bar, lounge areas, and a dining room.

As the weather warms up, it's harder to imagine spending too much of our time indoors though, so Lotus Condos addresses our desire to be outdoors with a landscaped rooftop terrace, offering barbecues, cabanas, lounge chairs, and views of the surrounding cityscape.
