West of the Credit River and north of Dundas Street in Mississauga you will find the community of Erin Mills. Under construction since the 1970s, the area is mostly built out now, but pockets of former farmland do remain. Where Eglinton Avenue crosses Erin Mills Parkway you will find the Erin Mills Town Centre, a major shopping centre now undergoing an $100 Million renovation, and on an opposite corner the highly regarded Credit Valley Hospital. South of the former and west of the latter, the Daniels Erin Mills condominium community is under construction.

A development by The Daniels Corporation, and designed by Kirkor Architects Planners, the first phase of Daniels Erin Mills is a 25-storey condominium tower with 300 residential units varying in size from 359 ft² to 871 ft², and with prices starting at $194,000.

Much construction has occurred since our previous story in October of 2014. The first phase now rises nine storeys into the air, with approximately one floor being added a week as crews are able to move fly forms up to the next level on a regular basis once a newly poured floor has cured. Meanwhile, excavation for the next phase has reached bottom and the footings for columns for the next building have been poured and the crane has been installed.

Once complete, phase one of Daniels Erin Mills will feature a 24-hour concierge service in its double height lobby to greet both residents and visitors alike, while many other amenities await in other parts of the building. On the fourth and fifth floors "CLUB 5ENSES" which will include a party room, a media nook, and an outdoor party terrace, while other terraces are set aside for yoga and al fresco dining with barbecues. A two-storey gym/community space, where the lower section will include an "Everything Activity Studio"—a multi-purpose space for group gatherings and activities such as birthday parties, family get-togethers, and craft nights—while the upper section is a state-of-the-art fitness studio which will enable residents to work out with the guidance of instructors from the virtual fitness program WELLBEATS
