The recent installation of 'Winter Stations' along Kew and Balmy Beaches has drawn many out to the waterfront over the past few frigid weeks. The historic Leuty Lifeguard Station on Kew Beach, which was not transformed for Winter Stations, is featured in today's Photo of the Day, which was submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool by ashtontekno. In this shot we can see three kites floating above the beach, their cool tones complementing the snowy beach and blue lake.
