Onni Group's master‐planned Fort York community is set to grow yet again, with a fourth condominium development called Fortune at Fort York. The 32-storey, IBI Group Architects-designed Fortune will follow in the footsteps of the completed 12-storey Garrison at Fort York, the 28-storey Yards at Fort York, and the 13-storey third phase of the community, Local at Fort York, now under-construction. Once this final phase is complete, the four towers will have added approximately 1,400 new homes to the growing Fort York neighbourhood.

The development takes the shape of a point tower rising from a block-hugging podium which encloses a large amenity courtyard. Fortune at Fort York will offer 511 residential units in studio, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, 3 bedroom, and townhome models. Residents at Fortune will enjoy plenty of amenities including a lobby with 24-hour concierge, two guest suites, a professionally‐equipped fitness centre with with his/her change rooms, a rooftop outdoor fitness area, a steam room, a sauna, and relaxation tubs. The landscaped outdoor courtyard will feature barbecues, a dining area, lounge seating with fireplaces, and a water feature.

Once a Molson's brewing plant, the area is being extensively redeveloped into the popular mixed-use Fort York neighbourhood, a short distance west of Toronto's core. Improvements have been reshaping the area and will continue to well into the future, thanks to millions of dollars in investment by both the City of Toronto and private developers.

Recent improvements include the opening of the Fort York Boulevard extension from Bathurst Street to Spadina Avenue, a new local library branch, new public space at June Callwood Park, and history combined with community meeting space at the new Fort York Visitor Centre. A nearby Loblaws will soon be under construction a block to the east, while more parks and an extensive walking and cycling network will be coming together in the area via the Fort York Pedestrian and Bicycle Bridges in the next couple of years.
