We last checked in on the construction progress of BSäR Group Of Companies12 Degrees during Summer 2014, when the 11-storey, Core Architects-designed development was in the process of topping off on Beverley Street, just north of Queen. In the time since our last visit, the glazing system which makes up the bulk of the building envelope has been applied to the uppermost floor, with just a few panels left to install before the building is fully sealed off from the elements.

Cladding installation has also made significant progress on the lower levels of 12 Degrees, which are being finished in a combination of dark "Wiarton black" split-faced limestone and vision glass. The stone finish on the lower levels along with the massing helps to create a contextual relationship between the natural tones of the adjacent three-storey houses and the modern mid-rise.

Future residents of the 96-unit boutique condominium development will enjoy amenities like a lounge, a private dining room and catering kitchen, a fitness centre, and a rooftop terrace featuring an outdoor swimming pool.
