We are now learning of plans by developer Worsley Urban Partners to redevelop 422 through 430 Roncesvalles Avenue, located a short distance north of Howard Park Avenue, and walking distance to Dundas West subway station. The site is currently occupied by a two-storey retail/residential building to the south, and a two-storey funeral home to the north.

The development, being marketed as The Roncy, is currently in its registration phase. While we have yet to see a planning application covering all of The Roncy's numbers, across the street at 433 Roncevalles is an 8-storey condominium which gives some insight into the potential height and density of this development.

The Roncy will follow on the success of three Toronto developments from Worsley Urban Partners, including Kew Beach Living, east of Woodbine on the south side of Queen on Kippendavie, IT Lofts at College and Rusholme, and Totem on Dundonald at Yonge and Wellesley.

We anticipate the release of additional details for The Roncy. Until then, you can check out or register at the official website, or join the in on conversation by visiting our associated Forum thread for the site.
