Now in it's 108th year in operation, the Royal Alexandra Theatre on King Street West is the longest continuously-operating theatre on the continent. The beautifully ornate example of Edwardian architecture opened in 1907, and has been operated by the Mirvish family since the 1960s. In today's Photo of the Day, which was submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool by Ben Roffelsen, the Royal Alex lights up a snowy night on King Street.
