The looping York-Bay-Yonge offramp from the Gardiner Expressway will be torn down and replaced by a shorter ramp to meet ground level at Simcoe Street in the next few years, greatly opening up the park that currently exists around and beneath the ramp. We are given a great evening aerial view of the ramp in today's Photo of the Day, which was submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool by ashtontekno.
