The Guvernment nightclub on Queens Quay Boulevard East closed its doors for good on the morning of January 26th, ending a 19-year run as one of Toronto's most widely attended entertainment venues. The large site is destined to become a mixed-use multi-building development containing residential, office and retail uses, to be known as Daniels Waterfront. In today's Photo of the Day, which was submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool by kotsy, we are given uniquely processed colour-selective shot of the club's exterior as seen on the night of the final event.
