A collection of new images are giving us a better idea of how the interior spaces will look in the two-tower 5959 Yonge Street Condos development proposed for North York by Ghods Builders Incorporated.

The Kirkor Architects Planners-designed development will feature towers at heights of 31 and 43 storeys, rising from a shared podium containing 15,000 sq. ft. of retail space at the corner of Cummer Avenue, just north of Finch.

Renderings depicting the lobby's expansive interior show use of gold accents and a dazzling central lighting feature above the 24-hour concierge desk .

The standout feature of 5959 Yonge Street will most likely be the approximately 40,000 square feet of shared amenity space to span four floors of the taller tower. Among these spaces, 5959 Yonge will include much enjoyed amenities like a movie theatre, media room, and a library. High above the city, another relaxing amenity space will provide views for miles.

The development will also include amenities aimed at keeping fit, in sports, and in relaxing. There will be a Yoga/Pilates studio, a fitness centre and an indoor pool area with adjoining rain room, wet steam room and dry sauna, and a 10-pin bowling alley. The most interesting amenity planned for 5959 Yonge Street would have to be the glass multi-sport LED fitness court featuring adjustable lines that allow the court to be used for over a dozen different sports, easily switched by the push of a button. In addition, the amenity spaces will accommodate businesses with the inclusion of a business centre, and gatherings with a sports bar and party rooms with kitchens.
