New development is having a transformational effect on some pockets of Scarborough, where several new condominium projects are promising new vitality for the former borough well into the future. One of the projects gearing up to bring new residents and retail to the area is Lash Group Of Companies' ME Living Condos, a Turner Fleischer Architects-designed master-planned community at Markham and Ellesmere in Scarborough, the 28-storey first phase of which is now on the market.
The interiors at ME Living have been designed by Tanner Hill Associates, and potential purchasers can get a taste of the interior design firm's vision for the development by visiting ME Living's presentation centre at Markham and Ellesmere, where they will find a model suite showing off the full design potential of the building's future suites.
Factoring in all four towers plus the townhouses which will be built as part of the master-planned community, ME Living will offer over 900 suites, putting residents in close proximity to public transit and Highway 401, close to popular destinations like the Toronto Zoo, Rouge Park and the Scarborough Bluffs.
Once construction of the development is completed, residents will several amenities including a multi-purpose sports lounge and games room, a screening room, a party room with a demo kitchen and private dining area, a gym, and a rooftop terrace with a swimming pool. The standout amenity will come in the form of a public courtyard, featuring a reflecting pool that doubles as a skating rink during the cold Winter months.
If you would like to learn more about this development in person, you can visit ME Living's presentation centre, located at 1151 Markham Road in Scarborough, between the hours of 12-6 PM Monday to Thursday or 12-5 PM on weekends and holidays.
