Work is now under way by developer Concord Adex at the site of Newton and Forward, 18 and 30-storey Page + Steele / IBI Group Architects-designed condominium towers soon to rise on the west side of the master-planned Concord CityPlace community. After the demolition of the old Amsterdam Brewery previously on the site, the first signs of shoring activity were noticed back in the Fall of 2014. Since that time, excavation has begun at the southwestern end of the site, with shoring work continuing to the north and east.

Newton is being constructed on the east side of Bathurst Street, between Fort York Boulevard and Housey Street, while Forward will be located right next door, at the southeast corner of the site at Dan Leckie Way and Housey Street.

Both buildings will offer impressive spaces designed by LIV Interiors. Residents of Newton and Forward will enjoy all the facilities one would expect from a condominium development, including access to the leisure and fitness facilities of the Prisma Club at Quartz, plus a selection of less-conventional spaces designed to tap into residents' creative side, like a dance studio, music studio, art studio, and a photography studio. A children's playroom amenity area is being included to address the growing presence of families in the master-planned community.

Once construction of the two buildings is complete, currently scheduled for 2017, Forward will have added 352 condominium units to the neighbourhood, while Newton will have added 189.
