Infrastructure like bridges and overpasses are an important factor in how we move around a city, but they often leave much to be desired aesthetically. The recent opening of Underpass Park has helped Torontonians to see potential for similar downtown underpasses. Following on the success of Underpass Park, street artists Essencia Art Collective recently brought some much needed colour to the Richmond and Adelaide underpasses at King Street East with an installation called Frozen Moments. In today's Photo of the Day, which was submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool by Iwonttell, we are presented with a long exposure shot of the murals as cars streak past on King Street.
