With decorations popping up all around the city, everyday feels a little more Christmasy. The Holiday Season is probably the most encouraging time of year to make donations and help those in need. The construction industry is not exempted from this. The Easton's Group of Hotels has this year again chosen to boost donations to Holiday Helpers Canada, supporting low-income families in the GTA to achieve their Christmas wishes by receiving a personalized package, from warm clothing to housing items and toys.
Contributions of goods are made through donations boxes designed by the hotels' employees themselves and displayed in the lobbies of Easton's Group's seven properties all around the GTA. Hotel guests and corporate customers are encouraged to participate, as staff members drive interest by producing a unique video celebrating the holiday season and attracting the biggest donation of goods in their signature donation box.
Easton's Group was also noted a few months ago when announcing that $1,000 will be donated to Ryerson University for every suite sold in their Dundas Square Gardens development at the corner of Dundas and Jarvis Streets. So far, $1 million has been collected.
