The development of Concord CityPlace has had a profound effect on Toronto's downtown, filling in a large tract of land formerly occupied by rail yards. The high-rise towers of CityPlace have added plenty of new homes to an area where there was once little more than a golf course, turning the once disused area into a vibrant community. In today's Photo of the Day, which was submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool by Ben Roffelsen, we are given an aerial view of the Spadina and Bremner intersection as viewed from a high-rise tower on the east side of Concord CityPlace.
