It is difficult enough for commuters to make their way around Toronto as it is, and even more so for transit riders with disabilities. Metrolinx is working to make their services fully accessible for those with disabilities, and public consultation is an important element in the process of upgrading these services. Metrolinx has already been conducting public meetings across the GTHA for three years now, and next week the public will once again be invited to provide feedback on Metrolinx's accessible services on GO Transit. Last year's meetings drew an average of over one hundred participants, and this year, Metrolinx is inviting the media as well as members of the public to participate in a meeting in their area and provide their ideas for improving accessibility for commuters with disabilities.
