The University of Toronto has been rapidly expanding over the past several years, as new architecturally significant buildings add to the institution's existing catalogue of impressive structures. Today's Photo of the Day, submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool by Michael Muraz highlights the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy's clean rectilinear design by internationally acclaimed architects Foster + Partners, which features a Luxembourg-imported glass curtain wall façade and black granite window frames. The building, located at the northwest corner of University and College, is also notable for its glowing pill-shaped orbs which illuminate the ground floor's interior by night.
