The booming condominium industry has led to increased public attention to design and architecture, which are growing into major industries on the national level. Founded in 1984 by the Association of Registered Interior Designers of Canada (ARIDO), the IIDEXCanada design conference will be celebrating its 30th year on Wednesday, December 3 and Thursday, December 4, 2014 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

IIDEXCanada is the country's national design and architecture exposition and conference, bringing these creative communities together for a networking and learning event that highlights every facet of the design industry including, healthcare, hospitality, retail, industrial, institutional, educational, and workplace interior design, textile and material design, lighting design, landscape, and architectureThis year's show will expand to the South Building of the Convention Centre, alongside Construct Canada, PM Expo, HomeBuilder & Renovator Expo, and Concrete Canada. These events will all be combined to create North America’s largest design and architecture-oriented event, The Buildings Show.

The two-day event is expected to attract over 15,000 trade professionals, plus another 25,000 expected for Construct Canada, with more than 1,600 exhibits occupying 200,000 square-feet of space, as well as 350 seminars and demonstrations highlighting the latest the design and architecture industries have to offer. IIDEXCanada will also present over 50 professionally-accredited seminars, parties, award ceremonies, tours and more.

IIDEXCanada will run on Wednesday December 3rd and Thursday December 4th, from 9AM to 6PM at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
