First Canadian Place has remained Canada's tallest building since it was completed in 1975, and despite the continuing onslaught of high-rise development, the 72-storey office tower has yet to be dethroned. In today's Photo of the Day, submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool by Paul Hillier, shows a dramatic view looking down from the north side of First Canadian Place as seen last Summer. Just below the centre of the image, we can see the since-completed disassembly of the Art-Deco Concourse Building at 100 Adelaide West, the facade of which will soon see new life as part of the new EY Tower office development.
