The freshly completed Streetsville Village Square on Main Street in the historic west Mississauga community ups the charm factor with a striking red brick repaving as well as the addition of a sheltered stage, new trees and lots of new street furniture for people to sit down at and enjoy the surroundings. While the bricked surface on the curbless street may still be fresh and the stage roof is modern, the surrounding buildings—many of which are decades if not a hundred years old—preserve the fain-grained fabric that makes the historic small-town downtown such a warm people place.

This blend of modern methods and old-fashioned charm is exactly what developer Dunpar Homes is emulating with their nearby development called Heritage Gate Mississauga Road, which will add 65 three-storey townhomes and semi-detached houses to the south side of Streetsville.

Heritage Gate is offering four distinct collections of townhomes and semis that range in size from 1,500 to 2,800 sq. ft., with features like  9’6” ceiling heights, rooftop terraces, and deluxe options like private elevators.

While most condominium developments in the GTA offer smaller units, Heritage Gate is able to offer two, three, and four-bedroom homes that are more in tune with the needs of a family. The development is currently slated for completion in the Spring of 2015.
