It has been a little while since we checked in on the construction progress of The Berwick and CityTowns by Andrin Homes and The Brown Group of Companies. The 17-storey, Page + Steele / IBI Group Architects-designed condominium and townhouse development has been topped out at the corner of Duplex and Berwick for some time now, and exterior details like balcony glazing and buff bricks on the lower three storeys are starting to give us a much better picture of how this project will look upon completion.

Brick installation on the southern facade is practically complete, and a scaffold is now growing along the tower and townhouse complex's Duplex Avenue frontage to facilitate the laying of more bricks.

The buff brick being used to clad the lower three floors of the complex is very true to the product depicted in pre-construction renderings, and does a great job in complementing the brick-built houses which line the opposite sides of both Duplex and Berwick Avenues.

Further up the tower, installation of balcony glazing is well under way, currently reaching up to the seventh floor.

Once the development is complete and occupied, residents of The Berwick's 205 units will have access to a selection of amenities, including a game room, party room, gym, sauna, guest parking and a guest suite.

We will return to The Berwick in the coming months as crews make the push for completion. In the meantime, additional information, renderings and floor plans can be found in our dataBase file, linked below. Want to get involved in the discussion?
