Built in 1994, the Humber Bay Arch Bridge is a well known landmark on the Etobicoke waterfront, popular with cyclists, pedestrians and photographers. The bridge was specially designed by Montgomery Sisam Architects to span clear over the mouth of the Humber River, carrying foot and bicycle traffic on the Martin Goodman Trail without disrupting the ecosystem of the river mouth. Today's Photo of the Day, which shows the bridge and distant Toronto skyline, was submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool by Gianluca Milza.
