Mississauga's Streetsville community lies just northwest of the growing Mississauga City Centre, and while the latter is urbanizing at a frenetic pace, Streetsville, and its surrounding communities, are intent on retaining the historic charm that makes the area unique. Heritage Gate Mississauga Road, a master-planned community by Dunpar Homes coming to the Mississauga Road and Eglinton area, will echo the historic character of the Streetsville area to the north with 65 three-storey townhomes, clad in similar red brick and stone finishes to Streetsville's historic buildings.

Ranging in size from 1,500 to 2,800 square-feet, townhomes at Heritage Gate will come with features like private elevators, rooftop terraces, and 9’6” ceiling heights. Heritage Gate's location, right between Sawmill Valley and Streetsville, will provide residents with an ample selection of shopping and dining options, as well as access to nearby green spaces and multiple modes of transportation.

Subdivisions and single-family homes are located nearby on Mississauga Road, while Highway 403 is located to the south. Between the 403 to the south and the residential neighbourhoods to the north, Heritage Gate's site is essentially a clean slate for redevelopment. To the north, the historic character of Streetsville's main strip gives us a better illustration of the aesthetic Dunpar is looking to echo in this new community.

Work on Dunpar's Heritage Gate is expected to be completed in the Spring of 2015. In the meantime, additional information and renderings can be found in our dataBase file, linked below.
